In short, I will not describe my thoughts for a long time, but the next day the machine was already mine. I am satisfied with the car and do not regret the step taken towards the purchase of BLS. In addition to everything, the former owner did chip tuning and instead of 210 hp it became 247 !!!! In addition to everything standard, my kit includes a CD for 6 mp3 discs, an acoustic system with 9 speakers, leather, separate and automatic climate control, a rain sensor, a slip system that works at any speed; cruise control with electronic speed control, 4 cupholders, wood and aluminum inserts on the dashboard and on all doors; electric adjustment of the front seats in 8 directions, shift buttons on the steering wheel, rear parking sensors, xenon headlights with automatic adjustment, washed headlights, 8 airbags - I hope, for those who hesitate to take or not take for such money - this will be enough. Fuel consumption naturally depends on driving style ... but the most economical mode is 80-100 km / h (surprised myself). An amazing gearbox, there is a manual mode with gear shifting on the steering wheel, but in reality, even while racing with someone, there was no need to switch to it. The acceleration is fantastic at any speed. T.O. every 20t.km, but the oil needs to be changed after 8-10 thousand km (anyone wondering why - I will consult). In general, the pros: stands out from the crowd; very good dynamic characteristics; excellent automatic transmission with manual mode and steering wheel shift; quiet interior and good "music"; both the interior and the car itself warms up quickly; good adaptive light; low fuel consumption; cheap maintenance; the largest glove compartment of all Cadillacs! A 2-liter bottle of cola comes in! At the same time, it can still be cooled non-rigid suspension, as expected from a European; good leather and plastic (in its class). Cons: inside it is Saab (well, maybe a little better, due to wooden inserts), although for me personally this is not a minus .; sharp rearrangements during movement should be done as on a rear wheel drive, with a margin; memory of seats, although there are three of them, but you need to hold the button until the chair comes to the desired position; you constantly cling to the cruise control key, although to turn it on completely, you still need to press the keys, but still; the burning icon that the cruise control is ready for work, I do not like it. Summary. It is the best in its price range. BLS is a great car. Buyer advice: Who wants to stand out from the stream of cars, experience the pleasure of the drive, take it. Update as of August 18, 2009 Three more months have passed by me of this car. On the speedometer, the mileage approaches 10,000 thousand km. My opinion about the car has not changed (as it was positive, it remains). Many asked about fuel consumption, and so with active driving in the city (starting from a traffic light, sharp acceleration), the computer gives out 16.5 liters per hundred, also drove in economy mode for a week, that is, slowly and sadly, the computer showed 13 by the end of the week, 9 liters. Outside the city, the machine eats stably 9-9.5 liters at an average speed of 110 km / h. But I will remind you that my car is stitched up to 247 horses, so the consumption can be less on standard engines. Now about the cons, although there are not many of them, but it is necessary to write. 1. There is no front parking sensors (and he is, oh, how you need it here) 2. The leather on the seats is slippery, and since there is practically no lateral support, with sharp turns the passengers begin to fly around the cabin. 3. In wet weather, the windshield fogs up, when the climate is on, everything falls into place, and if the fan just works, it does not help. Well, that's all the cons. Yes, I almost forgot when buying a car in the salon, I was advised to change the oil in the engine every 10,000 km of type, any debris starts to get into the oil. So it turns out it's all nonsense !!!! In this car there are oil peeling sensors, and they themselves will give it to the computer when you need to change it (one person told me this).
